‘The world of flyfishing’

You can’t keep a great show down. We know. We tried. We failed. And now we are back with a vengeance!

Because... There is another Fly Fair a-coming. Yes, you heard right.
So we’re talking here about the genuine Fly Fair, the original, the real McCoy. To be held on May 29 & 30 in 2010, its venue will be the premises of ‘The Oase’ near the town of Dronten. Next to one of Hollands big lakes, in the middle of a gorgeous nature area. We could say we’re going back to our roots again, for the coming Fly Fair will be a genuine...eh... tent affair. So if you remember the old fairs in Hattem this one will be like that! So our new Fly Fair spot is situated at the following adress:

‘De Oase’, Drontermeerdijk 2, 8251 PV Dronten, The Netherlands.

Fly Fair is synonimous with a fun-packed experience for all attending, and we will make sure this tradition is honored! Fly Fair 2010 will also introduce some improvements to the original formula. So one single, one gigantic marquis this time, and a copple of smaller ones. A true fair, with a host of flytiers and casters. What has not changed is the legendary Fly Fair atmosphere, which has been imitated widely within Europe as also further afield, but has yet to be equalled – it is exactly this atmosphere which has carved out Fly Fair’s reputation of uniqueness and popularity.

At the helm of Fly Fair 2010 you’ll see a few people being: Ramon Bressers (treasurer). Next to him you’ll find: Herman Wissink, Riny Sluiter and Hyppo Wanders who will, together with the fairs original founder ’good old’ Ad Swier, captain the Fly Fair vessel. A reunion of many Fly Fair veterans, fused with many contemporary names and a sprinkling of movers and shakers of today’s flyfishing scene. All this we will bring together at Fly Fair 2010!
