Biografie: Frank Moors![]() I am a keen angler living in Congleton in Cheshire UK. Congleton has many Dutch connections, the Princess Irene Brigade were billeted here in WW11 and many of the soldiers married local women and since stayed on after the war and made their homes here. I fish for Salmon ,Sea-trout, Grayling and trout. I fish in England, Wales and , Scotland . I have also fished the Varzuga river on the Kola peninsular of Russia. I am an enthusiastic fly -dresser and creator of several highly effective patterns . One of these , the Nitro shrimp can be found in Chris Mann’s book Feather wing and Hackle flies for Salmon. This pattern has caught hundreds of Salmon all over the UK and is at its best in peat stained water.I also have several other patterns to my name, including, The Blue Alexandra ,and the Jungle Cock Elver , these are very useful Sea-trout flies. I am a regular contributor to U K fishing magazines and demonstrate at a number of shows and fairs around the U K. This will be my second visit to the Dutch fly fair. This year I will be tying modern tube flies for Salmon , but will also demonstrate a couple of new Salmon flies tied on Salar double hooks. I look forward to meeting you at the Fly Fair Best Wishes Frank Moors |
