Biografie: Yann Youenn Boughlouan I am born in 1949, in Brittany an old keltic country in west part of France.  Since my boy hood, spend close to the river Ellé I have an interest in fishing and fly fishing after my first trout. Fly fishing is one part of my life and I when I was a student, I spent my holidays hitch-hiking with my rods (and tent) from Scotland to Lappland. In 1975, my way cross Preben Torp Jacobsen life : I must thank him to have help me to keep my roots and to believe that the tradition we have here in Brittany is important as any other. Since 1972, with the association “Dour ha Sterioù Breizh - Water an Rivers of Brittany” I fought to protect our rivers against pollution, agression and may be the human indifference. I enjoy to angle all kind of fish and to meet people. I tie traditional flies and try to use the old material in a new way and for new fish |
